During 2015 I joined a small group of artists to cycle and trek over 650kms, coast to coast across the island of Sri Lanka, starting at Negombo in the west and traveling via Adam's Peak and the lush highlands to Passikudah in the east.

'Thin Places' is a collection of Artistamp and Digital photos collected whilst walking and wild camping for three weeks through Southern England,
attempting to create using new practice and see life from a new perspective.
I stayed at the Fly In The Face artist residence in Suffolk for 10 days, setting up solargraph cameras around the grounds and also making pinhole and artistamp photographic forays to Orford Ness and Aldeburgh areas.
During the summer of 2012 I spent six weeks wild camping on Darnet Island in the Medway Estuary. Here is a feature length film of the stay and some pinhole photographs taken with a box camera I made from driftwood.
An essay about making a vital distinction between what is real imagery and what is created, about the beginnings of a new path towards an updated type of old honesty style and truth that will pull photography into line with other arts.
A series of self-supported photographic walks - from a few days to 3 weeks in duration - through some of the more unvisited areas of Turkey, Israel and Egypt, following ancient tracks and caravan routes.
Guided by the teachings of Sappho and the limitations presented by the 35mm Artistamp, Box Brownie Pinhole and Analogue Nikkormatt this project took in three countries and eleven thousand miles of travel.
Adventures and Film Photography in West Africa. This project included a 70km walk around the Dyounde Massif in Mali and an extensive exploration of the upper reaches of the Bani River by dugout canoe.
